Where? At our location in Berlin

• Defining and executing the infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals
• Leading and mentoring infrastructure-, cloud-, and a DevOps team
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud architectures; including all project-management activities
• Overseeing on-premises and cloud environments
• Ensuring system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Establishing and enforcing IT governance, IT-security, and compliance standards
• Managing vendors, external partners, and cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Driving automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Supervise the administration and maintenance of our corporate software and accounts
• Overseeing incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Collaborating with engineering, product, and security teams
• Managing budget, forecasting, and cost optimization for the infrastructure

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Several years of experience in cloud infrastructure, IT operations, or DevOps, including leadership roles
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Solid experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system architecture
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
• Experience managing vendors and external service providers
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, IT-Audits under EU Law)
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
